FHL Application Question

The FHL application asks for a "GO ID". Anybody know what this is?

On your hunting license is your GO I.D. number. It's a number CA DFG assigns to each hunter so they can keep track of your licenses. They can also use your DL or SSN to find your info. If I remember right FHL just needs either your GO ID or Hunting license number on your hunter permit app.
