They haven't updated the info line yet. I'm tempted. Anybody going?

Last weeks open TAs, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 25, 29, and 30.

My 30+ yrs. girlfriend wants me to work on the house so I have to pass. Maybe next time. The grass on the hillsides everywhere are lush and growing fast. Must be some fat piggies roaming FHL. Hammertime. God Bless.

I will be down there on the weekend of April 22! My brother and a couple of friends are going with me. Good luck!

I checked the hotline today and it said that FHL is closed to hunting this weekend. Not sure if that will change, but that was as of 2 pm PST.

I hope to get out there the weekend of April 22nd and 23rd and get into them again!

hey guys i talked to rochell today she said it looks like it will be closed for hunting and fishing untill the middle of may except for the fish derby on the 22nd she said to try the phone message just in case but with the activity that is what they expect if some one wants to try another place let me know im ready to go vern

i know the feeling i was packed and headed out i decided to make a call to see what was open and was told the bad news i checked the web but it doesnt have any info on hunting or fishing had to unload the truck may go out to carriso in the morning vern

They close it down because FHL is used for miltary training. So when they have
lots of this going on, they need more the areas to train the troops.

Good for us, but bad for hunting at FHL.

FHL.........is closed possibly till May???? Oh my goodness!!!!!! Whaaaaaah's a man gonna' do now???? Yikes!!!!
I see hog hunting withdrawal symptoms now!!!! I see people chomping on rolled up towels now. 'Nuff said.

Check every week tho. Sometimes units get orders to somewhere and don't do their training as scheduled.

If ya all get the hee bee gee bees to bad Camp Roberts is open on the 29th & 30th for turkey and pig. I know how you all feel i just recoverd from surgery and was all set to stick a pig.

Hog Hunting Withdrawal Symptoms.....................I believe the cure is to pop a coyote somewhere legal. Time to get out my Mini-14 and start calling. 'Nuff said.

Well I called the hotline today and of couse they are open this weekend.

Areas: 1,4,5,8,9,15,16,24,25,27 and 30.

Figures huh!

I am still scheuled to go next week and hopefully it will be open again.

Just thought I would share with all of us who were having withdrawals.

That figures I couldnt go hunting so i decided to go to an archery shoot in sacremento already have reservations at an rv park. O well guess ill just stick a foem pig. ( man i cant spell today)
