Took me awhile but now i no were the pigs are. :hog chewing:We got 4 within a months time. but really ive been hunting since last year. I killed alot of pigs at camp roberts but when it closed i had to try fhl. and i didnt ask for any help. Im a happy camper cause i did it on my own. I now know camp roberts were the pigs cross and believe me it took years to find there crossings. now i know fhl. im a happy camper. and there freezer is full of meat.

In the past they pick several weekends during the winter months and a few federal holidays to be open for hunting. The documents on the websites says it will be open Jan 17-19 for hunting and the annual fee is $100. I hope there will be more weekends to be open for hunting for that annual permit and not just that weekend.

Im glad its opening up again too bad I dont live in CA anymore my dad loved going there for deer hunting. He still asks me when its gonna reopen

Jimmy88 it was closed due to construction. But its opening the 17 through 19th this month.

So am I misguided in reading that the base is open for 3 whole days and they want $100 to hunt? Does anyone know when they will open again after that? Sounds crazy to me. MWR sure does like getting rich off of military hunting folks...What a scam.
