yeah but this closure knocks out MLK and Prez 3 day weekend hunts for me. I used to do a New Years and Prez hunts every year. That's more than a couple weeks too, that's 5 weeks in prime pig hunting time with quail and waterfowl still open.

I haven't sent my paperwork in yet and it's looking more and more that I'll just pass and go out of state now. CA will ban hunting in a year or two anyway so might as well get started somewhere else. Sad day in CA.

Oh and CAmp Roberts jacked their fees up and started the gun registration there too. Bye bye Camp Bob hunting for me.

I hear you Jesse! Exactly what I was thinking when I saw the post. We go there every year on these long weekends and it is a total bummer! Oh well!

It's ok guys. I know of some guy that killed all the pigs in FHL or pretty much pressured them out of the base. Also lots of sow were pregnant and 5 weeks of closure will give them sows the time to drop their litters and rebound from the hunting pressure. Hopefully there will be some rain after mid-Feb and more hogs to chase.

Gutted and cooled him down within the first hour... Surprising there was no smell. He survived a shoulder shot from a year ago and when I skinned him, the left front was ruined. I didn't notice a limp at all when I shot him. One shot to the neck dropped him on his tracks.

4 inches on one side. 1/3 was broken off on the other side. He was all torn from a recent fight. I wanna see the boar he tussled with.

Nope. This Thundra didn't know about 10/13. It only saw 10 and 13W but never got stuck except this one time in 15. You must be talking about the Nissan Frontier.
