I talked with my son Saturday and he said this joke here. We have private ranch between Greenfield and King City so we know what we are talking about. All the Cows are in Tank Range when they do move toward shooting zone an idiot scares them off. As of last night he told me there were 3 cows and 1 yearling wounded in 24 ad untouchable

I did not hear about any yearling wounded... did hear of a cow that may have been hit in the leg, but it wasn't in 24, was in 22 on Saturday morning. The only elk that we saw in 24 were bulls.

The elk were mainly in area 22 (tank range) or in area 20 and 21, with some in 13a (13W by Mission Rd). We did see some in 16B, but that was pretty much the extent of it. There were 2 elk shot on Friday, and 4 shot on Saturday. The guy I was helping got his on Saturday in area 22. That area was finally opened on Thursday afternoon to archery since all the elk were mainly there. Then Saturday they opened it to Muzzleloader/Shotgun hunting so the tag holders had better odds at getting an elk. We got ours that morning with a muzzy.
