Those of you going to FHL... anyone going up from Socal? I may be in... if you'll have me and my wife allows me. Rifle of archery? Also do you have to get a permit to hunt FHL? I am active duty.

Im from SoCal My buddy just told me he might go depending on his wife as well lol If he doesnt go you are more than welcome to go Im thinking of taking off on friday and coming back tuesday or wednesday at the latest. I believe it will be open to all, not just the elk hunters.

The better areas will be reserved for elk hunters only. And yes, the plan is to get all elk hunters to tag out. We did that last year on the last day of elk season and they opened up some elk areas to everybody. And this was the result.

Certain areas are closed for the elk hunters but there should be some good areas still open. Last year there was many good areas open for hunters.

Not a hater but a slayer staying warm @ nites in the Jayco. L2h told me his story of the last dance he had with this pig 3 hour laters no pig and l2h was still dancing the pig tracking boogie. I went to area 2 and was doing same dance the turkeys or pigs would not dance with me.

I think Pat is confusing a chilli wrap dance with dances with pigs and turkeys.........That's what happen when you avoid hunting with L2H.......hehe.
