Situpnride-
A few ways to get some info is to do a search on this site for "Hunter Ligget".

I am sure no one is responding because we are all sad.

FHL is closed til at least
the middle of May due to miltary training.

As far as hog hunting on FHL, it is still good, many good areas. It all depends on which
areas are open.

My group as bagged a few hogs in areas 25, 8 and 10/13 this year. We have also
missed plenty in areas 27 and 24 this year. 29 and 30 are good areas, but
they are walk in only and shotgun or muzzle loader. Hard to hunt but
lots of game.

Hope this helps.

situp,
There is lots of information available that has been put together by Jesse on almost all subjects on hunting, if you go to the top of the forum and do a search...
FHL is always being discussed and if you look back at the posts you will find more than enough info to get started.
FHL is now closed till middle of May, it is VERY popular so get there early as there are limits on some areas and be prepared for lots of company. It is required to obtain a season pass or daily pass ahead of time by mail, it takes a few weeks to get it back. Most zones open are firearm, but some are primitive weapons and walkin only...
