Hello Fellow Hunters....
As far as lodging goes you can still bring your RV here but you will have to be self contained because we have no hook ups. San Antonio Lake is 4 miles away from Bryson Hesperia Resort.I just got off the phone with San Antonio Lake Resort and they do have 15 units available that sleep 6-12. Also its a buy one get one free deal. For the unit that sleeps six Friday night cost 130 and Saturday night is free and Sunday night cost 110! This is there link so feel free to check them out! http://www.lakesanantonioresort.com/

Also right now for the wives/girlfriends i am trying to get some ideas going:
Limo wine tasting? (everyone will have to pitch in I just called and for 8 people it would be 60.00 a person)
So if you know of any wineries that you would want to go to just let me know and i can put 3 or 4 on the list!

Also there is great shopping in Monterey!

If you have any other questions please feel free to email me info@brysonresort.com i will be happy to answer any questions that i can. Thank you

Brokenarrow, you're more than welcome to drop by for the BBQ and seminar.

We're trying to add some other events and maybe even a band for Sunday night, New Year's eve. The BBQ and band would require a small charge but since we're getting the lodging free the small cost to pay for a nice supper and some entertainment shouldn't dent the pocketbook that bad. It's almost a soiree, we're working on making it a fun weekend for all who attend.

On the fort maybe being closed, I've never see that happen over Christmans or New Year's there since most military installations shut down for 2 weeks on those holidays and there shouldn't be any training going on then. Dee Dee was working on a plan b and plan c just in case the fort is shut down plus there is Big Sandy and the NF nearby to hunt Public land.

Well we are really looking forward to this it will be fun! just a couple things i need more wifes/girlfriends for the wine tasting i mean if worst comes to worst i might just have to go....j/k but really i have 4 more spots to fill in on that so please let me know so i can order the limo...asap. karin@brysonresort.com. Or if you guys are willing to i can order it but it might be more money....because it wont be split between so many people.

FHL_when you enter at fort hunter liggett they require Drivers licence and proof of insurance so please be up to date with that stuff....They don't give any breaks (we know from experience) =)

Also i don't know how wet its gonna be out there so make sure you bring a chain and shovel just in case any of you guys get stuck.

The weather looks good so far. Friday mostly sunny and saturday sunday partly cloudy and monday sunday. so we will see...pray for the best.
