Hope it was some of our pressure that got the job done. Pretty amazing that it went from "up to 4 months" to nada....

Let's hope this doesn't happen every time like the CA budget. OOPS, guess that wasn't politically correct... Thanks to all of you that pressed the buttons to get it solved, and to Deedy for the quick update.

Great news, the FHL website now has this message:

The Fort Hunter Liggett Hunting and Fishing program will remain open to all hunting and fishing recreation while the recruiting process is conducted to fill two program staff positions. Planning for the annual Youth Fishing Derby for this spring will continue.

Permit applications will be accepted as usual.

We are open for business as usual.

I apologize for any confusion and inconvenience. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
