Is there any chance that Rifle hunting areas will be opened up this weekend without it being posted at the Website? Should we camp in front of the Check Station waiting for a change?

This is one of the biggest drawbacks to FHL, they can change TAs anytime without notice. Pays to always check ahead before making the drive...
And we all need to be thankful it is still open at all, just look at what happened at camp bob after the new female commandant assumed command. The same thing happened back in the early 80's and it was awhile before we were able to access the base as before. They do not see hunting (or even civilian access) as a priority, it is seen as a deterrent to military training...

Just wondering? TA-13E was the only Slug Gun area open this weekend. Did anyone hunt pigs there?
