FHL Shut down?

I thought I'd post in the pig section in case one of you guys knew if this government shutdown is going to cancel hunting at FHL this weekend. My son has a junior deer hunt there.

I just talked to someone who said he thinks the hunting will be unaffected, but he is going to verify and call me back within an hour. Sent a PM with more details.

They told me that as of now the weekend hunt is still on. There will be a meeting on Thursday that will finalize the go/no go decision...so I would make sure you call them then to make sure.

Yes, I called the number you gave me, and she said that so far, it's still open. Hope it stays that way!

I got an email from FHL today confirming the base will be open this weekend. Good luck to your son for the junior deer hunt. I'll be up there as well trying to find a doe to fill my G-8 tag.

Thank you, I'm glad to have another source of confirmation. We'll be there in a white Dodge with a winch on the front and my antler logos on the back side windows.
