I would recommend a 4wd I have hunted fhl in the past would love to try it again but don't have a truck as I left it back home to my dad. I have seen as big as 250+ lbs in the past. Got room for another hunter? I would pitch in for gas if possible as I am in bakersfield

Congrats! I was also there but nada for me. I had two bobcats come within 20yds of me though. Too bad I had no tags. Was going to go to TA7 too but opted for another area. Good job!

I got 3 finals on Monday but I'm gonna e-mail the rest of the pics to Nate and he can write up his report whenever he gets a chance.

I'll try and post up my own report as well later this week after I get all this school stuff taken care of.

BTW the only way to get to Sulfur Springs road now is via Upper Milpitas which isn't paved... There is now a locked gate at the intersection of Mission Creek and Sulfur Springs which you can't get around.

We didn't get stuck but it made for fun drive getting outta there!

not sure but I know certain areas have locked gates and you have to get the code at the shack to get into.

I asked the guy at the shack and he said we had to go around and that they're not letting people through that way anymore.

Not really an issue most day's but we didn't make it to far into the area before the road was flooded at a low spot so we ended up having to do a good bit of extra hiking...
