Thanks, good to know, the memo said it needed to be "hand carried" but I guess it cant hurt to try mailing it. Out of curiosity, how do you know it was approved, they contacted you?

Yes.

I forgot to include a copy of my DL with my original submission, so I called and talked with Saki. She had me scan and email a copy of my DL to her. She emailed me the next day to advise that I needed to furnish my SSN and a SASE for them to send the approved registration back to me. I sent her an email with my SSN, and a few hours later she emailed me with a PDF file that was my approved registration paperwork.

Short story - if you guys are going to use the mail-in route, make it easy for the woman to do her job. As you can imagine, she is quite busy trying to take care of everyone, and she really went the extra mile to hand-hold me through the process.

You need to do four things:

1) Fill out the form.
2) Provide your SSN.
3) Provide a copy of your DL.
4) Provide a self addressed stamped envelope.

Do we send the form to the same address we sent for our permit or is it the address of the station we register the guns? I assume the latter?
