Hey Jesse while I was in the Army, almost 11 years worth, I spent several in Germany. Our "post" was picketed frequently due to high noice by scout helli's and bradely's not to mention the "Gulf War" time frame, and anything else the "Turks" or anyone else felt like picketing about. Since the 9/11 tragic I don't think I would recommend it also keep in mind that is the fastest way to get on the post commanders bad side is disrupt the running of his installation. Just a thought. Though I don't live in CA and don't plan on it I have been following this thread and the one in Campfire because it ticks me to see folks treated rudely by any form of Government Employee's. After all OUR taxes pay their salary.

I didn't want to but I went ahead and banned hubba (Cindy). I'm not worried about her calling me names or presenting her side of the story. I am worrried that since she has access to my private data like my home phone number and driver's license number etc. that she will post them here to get me to shut up.
It would help our cause to let her post since she is handing us the ammo we need to get her removed from the window but I will not let anyone post private data from any member here to blackmail them or influence them somehow. It's illegal and will be dealt with.
Kickaha, your effort was appreciated. I thought once we got her talking we could find a middle ground for some improvement. At least we tried. I find her too irrational to reason with and that is why I want to go over her head.
Now that grtwhthntr mentioned the window tapping I guess I have had earlier problems too. Back several years ago when the store was open next to the check in window I had to tap on the window for long periods of time to interupt Cindy and the coffee klatch. You really didn't want to piss her off but if you needed to check in or change areas you had to. She would open the window, do the paperwork and throw it back at you and slam the window. No hello, no nothing, just get rid of the customer was all it appeared to be so she could go back to talking with the inner circle buds. I never tried to schmooze into the favored son bunch since I was told it was like playing with fire.
Can anyone write up a petition we can circulate to the hunters and fishermen at FHL? I'll put it on the website here so anyone can download it and get sigs. If anyone goes to FHL we sure could use some help passing the petition around and also reports back on how you are treated. We also need to know if the window is opening on time with BOTH employees there to take care of the long line in a timely manner.

Well, I was thaught very early in a public service career that you must treat someone like you would like to be treated. Like you would want your mother being treated. Because you never know who the person you have dealing with knows! Don't read a book by the cover. Because you might think that everyone on this site, but you is a dumb hillbilly. Jesse, you did the right thing to ban her. She went way off limits by posting info about you in a public forum. Not to mention the name calling and all the other crap.
I have never hunted FHL and if I were new to this board and read this topic, I would never want to go hunt there.

I was the drummer of the now famous "Roaddogz" (www.roaddogz.com) a decade ago and the name has stuck ever since.
If it’s no trouble, I would prefer Pitdog. Thanks!

Update on the problem.
I spoke with Mark Grindstaff today. He is the Director Of Public Works at FHL. The head boss above the hunter check in window people. He is looking into our complaints and the posts here. He also stated there was NO threat of the hunting being shut down because of our complaints about the check in window service.
If you want a change in the rude service at the check in window, now is the time to speak up. Mark Grindstaff's email if you want to talk to him directly is mark.grindstaff@liggett-emh1.army.mil I forgot to get his phone number but will post it too.

I forgot to mention one other thng Mark Grindstaff at FHL mentioned. He said they were already considering going to an automated system for hunters to check in. This would help in my opinion because you could do it any time on the Internet and you wouldn't be lining up at the windows for long waits. It would make the service at the window problem moot since there would be no interaction there between hunters and the check in window people.
