Anyone have any numbers on the # of hunters and open TA's. Thinking of heading out the next week or so.

I know, but Rannie usually gives updates on how many of what were taken from where. If there were a lot of people or not.

Here I am! LOL

We haven't had too many pig hunters, mostly A-24 deer hunters and quail hunters and the past couple of weeks we had the J-10 (Junior deer hunt for military) and the G-8 (archery either-sex deer hunt for military).

But during the Columbus day weekend, one guy got 3 pigs out in TA-29 and the week before that, another guy got a 240lb hog but I can't remember which TA it came from. I'll let you know when I find out on Friday.

Anyways, right now we've got all our Quail hunters back since the season started last week. During the quail opener, we had about 200 + hunters check in. I expected more though so it was a quiet weekend. No lines during check in, everyone was coming in during different hours to check in.

Oh yeah, one hunter got sprayed with a 20 gauge in TA-6 by another quail hunter so be careful! The hunter was okay, a few minor wounds but refused medical assistance.
