You can't blame a few a-holes on the entire state. We have plenty of them here in Ca too. You just haven't met them yet. I also have to ask it you left the GPS and binos out in plain view?

I have two small pillows in the back seat. The bino was under the pillows. GPS was in glove box. Both not in plain view from outside. An un-open bag of dorito chips was in plain view on the passenger seat and a fishing tackle box full of fishing gear worth about $200 on the floor of the passenger seat. I was on the way back from fishing at a lake. Couldn't hide the tackle box. The a-hole opened the tackle box but didn't take anything out of there. He took the bag of doritos, the GPS, and the bino.

Not blaming the whole state for one a-hole. Being in TX only three days and got an a-hole digging in my truck vs. 25+ years in CA and had only two a-hole dug in my truck. That number is a big difference and got me curious of how many of them are in TX. Or it could be that I'm new in this state and I could have wonder onto an east LA or Oakland part of TX.
