well think the pictures our to big so I got to figure out how to down size them to get them on here, but heres the story. I've been hunting tejon alot lately and have been seeing a lot of big tuskers running around in this certain area. Pretty much all of them have given me the slip or just to far. I seen this guy a couple days prior to when I killed him and I couldn't get closer than 600 yds before he got into the thick stuff. I couldn't return the next day so a couple days went by and I finally got back to the ranch. The nite before I spotted two more boars and one had some pretty good teeth but as I made my long stalk around to him the wind swirled and he busted out in front of me and that was that. The next morning I was back in the same spot. As the sun rose I couldn't spot anything so I decided to head to where the big boy gave me the slip before. There was a certain canyon that held a lot of pigs before they go to there beds so I wanted to get there before it got to hot. As I made my way over there I spotted a sow already heading to bed. So I just eased my way farther down the trail and thats when I spotted him. Right off the bat I knew it was a big boar. Then he turned and I could see teeth and the markings of the big boy that gave me the slip a couple days before. He was only 50 yards away and moving through the oaks. He was heading to his bedding area and I knew it was now or never. So I touched off the little bee(270 wby) as he was trotting threw the oaks quartering away and the 130gr E Tip dropped him in his tracks, then he bounced up and made a death dance 20 yards down the hill. He was a brute probably all scarred up and ugly. He had three inch cutters on him and finally I had a hog that I have always wanted. I'll try to get pic s posted.
