so i got invited up to hunt my step dads friends ranch near red bluff. we took off tuesday morn saw a few white wild turkeys got to the ranch did some chores and got out to the blinds around 530. right after i sat down and opened the windows there was a yote. i called on the radio askin if they wanted me to shoot it and got the call from the ranch owner sayin kill it. so due to the grass being tall i was just waiting for him to pop out and 5 min goes by and right when he steps out and i am pulling the trigger and the radio goes off "BEEP BEEP you kill it yet" so he took off as i was shooting clean miss. damn, figured that was the end of the hunt figured nothing would come out after hearing that shot. well i was wrong sure enough about 730 or so this guy came out of the grass about 120 yards away i shouldered the '06 and got on him as soon as he turned broadside i put that 150 grain barnes tipped tripple shock bullet right through both lungs or did i. i went to where i had shot him no blood damn mayb i missed. i walked up the hill looking through the grass by this time it was dark so with my head lamp i was searching gettin a little discouraged. before i was about to give up i thought to myself mayb i should check down by the creek sure enough there he lay in the creek bed 25 yards from where i shot him!!!! man i was pumped!!!! well as of now its not letting me put up the pics but ill keep trying
