First fresh sheds for me

I decided to go looking for sheds once more before going back to school hoping to find one or two. I went to the spot where I usually see the deer bedding and saw this old little shed right away. Don't know how I missed it before.

Then about 50 yards away I saw this nice little 5pt shed.

I think it belongs to this buck.

After searching the area a bit more I decided to check out one spot where I had seen some deer a few times. Thats when I saw this one.

When I turned it over I saw this wierd break which looks like it could have been another beam coming off the main beam.

After walking a few minutes I looked down and noticed that there was a bunch of blood running out of the hole in the break point. The blood dripped out for about 15 minutes before finally stopping. Has anyone ever seen this before or know what it is from?

I have no idea what caused all that blood. I thought you might have cut your hand on it but obviously that is not it. Good work on the sheds, keep up the good work.

The blood coming out of that shed is wierd. I've never seen, nor heard of that. I cant imagine what it's from.

I figured once the velvet was gone, it was just dead bone.

great pics, that blood is freaky, i thought i had seen it all.......not! it also is interesting the way it points up at the end of the main beam and that other one has a great g2 way to go keep them comin!!!
