So tomorrow I'm going on my first ever hunt. Lucky enough to have private land that I get to hunt for some hogs on just into Mendo County out on 128. Wish me luck...

Good aim

Good aim and may the god of hogs shine upon you today. Make it fun whether you drop one or not - otherwise life is too short. AS

Just remember to take a picture of yourself giving ol porky a smooch! It's a fishin tradition, and it carries over to hunting. Good luck, and you don't have to wear lipstick!:lol bashing sign:

Well we went out both Sunday and Monday. Saw hogs on both day as they were running away. Either way I had a blast. Might have to get someone with more experience out there with me to help me know what the heck I'm doing. Anyone of you archers that went to teach this Grasshopper let me know.

I hunt a place on 128 right near Yorkville, same neck of the woods as you. I've figured out how to get on the pigs in the country pretty good. I'd be willing to go with you and teach you some things. No need for me to take a bow, just binos and a camera.

that would be awesome bigsur it may be likely that it is the same property that i have permission on. Let me know when you're free and we'll have to get out there. I live in Geyserville so it's only 20 miles from my house to the hunting grounds.

No chance it's the same property, I'm the only guy with a key to mine. But that whole area is loaded right now, and every ranch should be good hunting. I live in Santa Rosa, and I'm available Fridays and weekends which is nice. Next time your gonna head up there, and want some help, feel free to let me know.
