Found two, 2 points this morning. One old and one fresh. The fresh was a nice little fork that matched one of the 1.5 y/o's I found last week. About 100 yards away. Happy to be finding a few, but still no bigs this year.

CONGRATS on the matched set!!Always nice to see both sides together again.lol Do you think you over looked it last week or was it dropped since you were in there?
Any shed is a big one in my eyes, some might be a little bigger than others though.Good luck on finding more.

Congrats on the match set. Always great to find a shed and finding both sides is even better.

Thanks guys, although it was just a fork set, its only my third solo set.

deershed,

I think I overlooked it. Having found three fresh sheds off different bucks right in the same bedding area last weekend, I thought I'd give them a week and see if they came back to give up the other sides. No luck there, nothing in the bedding area. I found this one on a runway between the bedding area and a field w/ corn stubble. I really scoured looking for the other matches too. The corn stubble and the rest of the ag fields they are relying on for food are all private lands. I walked the fence lines and all the trails up to them. Looks like I need to ask some permissions to have a chance at the others.

And this a pic of an old, chewed little two point found in a big bog swamp area on the same day.

Nice pics!!You can't beat those "as they lay" shots.Did you ever notice how well your sheds stand out after you find them?LOL Most of them anyway.
If your like me you'll look at your field pics over and over. The way most sheds stand out like a sore thumb once you find them.Makes you wonder why they're so hard to find in the first place. That shed in the last pic would have to be the exception. How did you spot that?

Way to go. The smaller ones take some finding and when you pick those up you know you're probably not missing anything big. Keep crankin.....I bet you'll score a big one or two before the seasons over.
