First shed of the year

Well, got out yesterday and covered some ground. Found my first shed of the year, unfortunately it was from at leat last season. Real nice right antler though, 17" G2, looked all over the area for the other, course being an old shed someone else may have it.

West Creek-Congrats on that first one for the year!!
I kind'a like finding a shed from the year before specially if it's my first trip in that area.It tells me depending how well it was hidden that nobody else was in there yet.I wouldn't rule out finding that other half yet.I was out today and found a set from at least a year ago.Both sheds were all chewed up and turning greenish in color from laying.I found another set one time that was from the year before too.

Hey guys, I'd love to post a pic, but, uhh.... since the digital fell out of the tree, I'm without the means right now. I'll get another soon and post some pics of what i end up with this year.

My wife says to tell all you shed hunters "thanks" , had to go out and get another dog for shed hunting, don't think he'll do me much good this year, he fits in my hand right now, lol, got a fox terrier pup.
