first time hunters

My sister is planning a surpise birthday trip for her husband to go hog hunting in Northern Cali. We don't want to put the investment into purchasing rifles and equipment for a first time adventure if we aren't sure if we will even like it.

Does anyone recommend a good tour company in Northern California?

Can you rent the guns for the day?

How much should a day hunt cost us ( lic, fees, and butcher)

I'm sure they're out there, but I don't know of any where you can rent guns. Maybe you or him could borrow one from a friend?

Hello there and welcome to the forum.....as to your questions.... if u go with a guided service...I m sure they can charge an extra fee for the use of their guns...and some guided pig hunts will run u $500 or more for each person...just surf the net...there's a couple good ones or u can look in here for recommended guides on here...hope this helped...goodluck
