First time shed hunting

This past weekend I went shed hunting in earnest for the first time. 3 of us went through some of our hunting ground and picked up 5 sheds. Only one was a matched set of an 8 pt. They varied in score from 50" with the 2 largest at 62". Some looked like they were on the ground for a month or more and one antler looked real fresh. Only one had any chewing on the tips. Not too bad for a first effort. We may have to make it an annual event and spend some more time devoted to it.
