BODEGA BAY-- Hot salmon bite below Horse Mountain, with three different masses of kings--one offshore at 7 to 12 miles, another just off of Tomales Point, and one found by Captain Bob Monckton on Saturday off of Elephant Rock that produced limits on his boat Reel-lentless by 8:30 a.m. On board the Calico, Captain Mike Harbarth fished Friday through Sunday with limits every trip, most fish in the 10- to 14-pound class, but a 20 pounder taking big fish honors. Captain Rick Powers reported limits on every trip last week, the New Sea Angler targeting the offshore bite, kings on krill in the upper water column.
