Nice shot wapati! I would say that the geese on the right that are cut off are a little distracting though, that would be my only nit..

I could have cropped it, but didn't. It's tough to get exposure right and enough shutter speed to stop action, then to focus with moving birds. This was at 1/500

Agree completely. I take a lot of pictures of geese and stopping them requires at least 1/1000th or better

Nice I got some pics of some geese like that while out geocaching, but since I'm still using the lens that came with the D50 that are a little bit far away, this one you posted is nice and close, cool!
