Food Plots

Does anyone know if it's legal to grow food plots on private land in California? Is that considered baiting?

From what im aware of it is perfectly legal to do so. The propertys that I have been on have barley and alphalpha witch bring in the deer and pigs. Just cant have a feeder or put out cmere deer/other attractants.

from what i've been told and read it is my understanding is that it is leagal grow a food plot in CA. your just not abble to hunt within i believe 4hundred yards of it.
