We are not only gonna pay twice for porkies removal ( taxes & licenses ) , but three times when the first citizen gets hit by a richocet from an "airborne expert marksman " emptying his AR-10 magazine ( 10 rounds with bullet button I'm sure ..... see 'sarcasm' in any dictionary you want !) at the first group of pigs he sees . How much are the gates gonna cost to lock down the Nat'l Forest when " Death from above" starts ? I think there are about a hundred or more access points in the CNF ! Private property owners will have to vacate their properties during porkie 'aerial shooting days' and be given hotel vouchers by the state ?

Who are the mental midgets that think this stuff up ?

Why aren't the same eradication efforts being attempted in counties with a more target rich environment ? (i.e. Monterey , Kern , Sonoma , Mendocino , etc. )

Anybody care to jump right in .......

View attachment DFG Proposal Letter Feral Pig.pdf

Please send a letter or postcard to the DFG, as prescribed in the attached letter.

All comments must be submitted with a name and complete address. DFG will not accept email addresses as sufficient data for verification of a person submitting an opinion. Guidelines may be found in 36 CFR 215 (specifically Part 36 Section 215.14).
http://ecfr.gpoaccess.gov/cgi/t/tex...&rgn=div5&view=text&node=36:2.0.1.1.5&idno=36

Be sure to direct your argument toward each section of the proposal. You may wish to challenge the efficiency of "professional" pig hunters versus "recreational" pig hunters (those who pay the DFG license fees to hunt on public land). You may also wish to challenge the blanket closure of public forests in each of three counties and an indian reservation within the state of California. And finally, you may wish to challenge any assertion by the DFG that the presence of feral pigs presents an "emergency situation" which they believe requires the proposed actions.
