Fort Hunter Ligget in Laymens terms?

I know you have to register firearms but do you have to register your bow as well?

Baco- From my last understanding months ago, bows do not need to registered. Anyone can chime in if that has changed? Since things at FHL change all of the time.

One thing I will add is while beer is no-no in hunting areas it is fine to have in the camping area. Just leave it at your campsite and don't have it in any of the TAs.

Good luck, there are pigs out there and you will find them, I have seen them in every single TA I have hunted.

One question I can't find the answer to: Say I bring both my bow and my rifle. If I choose to hunt an archery only area, what do I do with my rifle? Can it be kept in a locked case in my truck while I hunt an archery area, or do you have to commit to a weapon before driving up?

You are not allowed to bring a rifle and ammo into an archery only area, however you can bring a rifle with no ammo in your truck. Leave the ammo at camp.
