Fort Hunter Liggett has anyone been up there recently?

Just wondering if anyone has been up to FHL in the past few weeks? Just wondering how has it been for the piggy's. Wanting to head up there soon too.

I'll be there for the archery Elk starting on the 23rd. I'll try to get you a report of what I see.

I was thinking of going up there myself, not for elk, but for pig. If you need any help packing out let me know.

I'm up here now and I asked the guys at the desk and they said there hasn't been that many pigs taken... probably has something to do with it being deer season and people would rather take a deer than a pig

Not sure what the weather is like but I was told once it starts to rain and stays wet the pigs will be moving more. I want to hit it up in October.

it seemed like everything was hiding good due to the fact it was the end of the deer season and everything was scared

Love FHL. went pig hunting there several years back. Saw a herd of about 200 elk. It took them about 5 minutes to cross the road in front of me! Saw tons of deer, but not one pig!!
