Fort Hunter Pig Hunt.

Me and a buddy are thinking of heading up to Fort Hunter to do some pig hunting with rifles in early Feb.

We are driving a long way and wanted to know if they ever run out of training areas because of too many hunters? Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Generally no. Except for maybe the deer opener or if they are doing maneuvers on a lot of the areas. I'd be concerned about them closing it because of rain and flooding. For MOST folk's success is like a 1 in 40 trips. You can hedge by going when the wetaher is favorable ot when large crowds keep the pigs moving a bit, or by going with someone intimate with the place.
