bradj-some do shed early, but most in my area 10 min. south of Gett,Pa.
start around the middle to the end of janurary.
I've had two different sets of antlers pop off the deer's head while dragging
deer out of woods the first week of the rifle, hunting in Adams co. Pa.
Then shot a doe that turned out to be a buck that lost his antlers during
doe season back when Pa. had the 3 day season following buck season.
Finding a shed that early means your either real lucky or real good.
