Tyler had hit all the hill tops around the farm on Wednesday but had no luck. Still a lot of snow in most areas. Today we hit a couple feeding areas and again just ran bare hill tops. Wished I would have brought the camera along as just the G2 and G3 were sticking out of the snow on the only shed we found. The shed scored 60.

Thats a great looking shed, add a little mass and length next year and it'll be a bruiser. You must be from open county, its that nice light color.

Very wide open here. He will be pretty nice next year.

Goodluck on finding sheds. We are going to go out again tomorrow. Sounds like this week will find snow melting finally. About time.

I was the lucky one. Only one behind him now but know that will change once this snow goes and he looks around the farm after school while I work. Quite a few bucks where using the neighbor's CRP when they shed. Should be a very good area. We've already found 6 or 7 sheds along the edges of the farm where the bucks travel to get to a couple fields to feed. I've got my work cut out for me just on weekends and he knows no mercy. LOL Goodluck hitting 100 plus.

Congrats Tim. Is the snow melting much yet? It's about over down here for me. I'm at 67 and will be thrilled if I can reach 70 this year. Hope all is well with family and you.

Still a lot of snow but we managed to dig 5 sheds out of the snow Sunday. We ran hill tops in their feeding areas for the most part again and walked a good 12 miles. I know we are walkiing right by sheds and hopefully the warm weather they are promising will uncover a few more this weekend.

About an hour into walking, I found a 4 pt shed. Got to give Tyler a little grief as I was tied with him and since I figured it wouldn't last long, I better do it now or never would have the chance again this year. It lasted a whole 2 minutes.

Tyler found a matched set of 4 pt sheds laying a couple feet apart. He was pretty happy. I picked up a forky shed about an hour before we quit for the day. Tyler found a small 5pt shed on they way back to the truck. Neat little shed as it came of a 1.5 year old buck. It's the first 5pt we have ever found off a 1.5 year old so that made our day.

Sorry, there is no " as they lay " pictures since I forgot the camera. Here is one of the group. Nothing huge but definitely hard earned. Well that what my body was telling me today at work.

Tim,

Tell Tyler congrats on his finds. Hope the snow melts soon so you guys can get out and find some more. I'm hoping to find a few more this weekend as we have a big shed hunt planned in southern Iowa with a bunch from Iowa Deer. Should be a great time. I'm planning on taking the video camera and and getting a little footage for a shed hunting video I'm putting together. Hope to have one out by the end of next shed hunting season. Well good luck.
