Sweet find. Maybe he'll have double droppers next year.

Hope you find him, good job on the turkey too. It looks like you had quite a successful day.

Those are great sheds! Were they lying side by side? Let's hear more of the story behind it!

I think this dude is bedding on my FIL's 40acres (he don't hunt) It's mostly fields but a small section (probably 1/8 acre) at the very back at the foot of the mtn is wooded and thick and don't get messed with. Where that section comes into the field there is an old fence and a new fence a couple of feet apart and the wooded side drops about 4-5 ft and it is easier for deer to go under the fence than jump over it. Well he went through the fence and his horns must've been ready cause they dropped right there side by side. We woulda never known he was there otherwise. My FIL kept telling me to sit there during deer season cause a deer kept knocking down his electric fence every night while walking into that area. Every time I hunt there I never see anything and lose patience but if that doesn't give me the confidence to sit there nothing will.

Cool story! Sounds like a likely spot to me. You need to get a trail cam up there this summer and ten you'll know for sure!

Jesse's has a great trail camera section in the forum here. I'm not sure If you visited yet or not, but if you havn't it's worth checking out. Most of the guys here on the forum are building there own but there are some great review on some of the manufactured ones.

Later!

Cool man. I've actually got one that I had set up there at the farm. It's a moultrie 35mm. It eats batteries like crazy and the trigger speed is slower than Christmas. Needless to say I wasn't real pleased with it but yes I do need to get it into the woods.

You should look into building a "Home brew". It's fun and easier than it sounds. My favorite home brew is a sony P41 with a pixcontroller LE board. The cam itself will take hundreds of photos before going dead on 2 AA batts and the 9 volt battery that runs the control board will last for 8 months.

This is getting off topic, since we're in the shed forum, so I'll stop there.

See ya around!

Nice sheds and great looking bird too.

When it's your day nothing can stop you.

Congratulations on both.
