Heres a matching set of elk sheds I found fresh. One side is a decent 6 pt with huge G2's. The other side is just the eyeguard. Right after the eyeguard it broke off in velvet but continued to grow. It kinda just molded over, like a scar lol. I think also rest of the growing process went into the eyeguard cuz as you can see thats a huge eyeguard even for an elk.
