Free Photo editors

I just downloaded the GIMP, looks like is has some decent features for free, what are others using?

I don't have a free one, but the one I use is Photoshop Elements 3.0. $59.99 at Frys.

From what I have heard, the GIMP can do practically everything Photoshop can do. It's interface may not be as polished though (I played with it several years ago).
