$700 for guide and pig and i think it's $50 per night lodging.
And if it's a trophy boar they tack on $500.

kcranvit put up a thread about this is 2009 on JHO with some nice pictures
http://www.jesseshunting.com/forums/showthread.php/187206-Hollister-Hogs....?highlight=french+ranch

According to what kcranvit wrote in 2009 "cost is for non-trophy boar is $950 for the weekend, trophy is $600 more I believe.(anything over 3.5 inches). ....Regular pig is $700 i think and lodging is $250" There was some discussion at that time of $1550 for a boar and weekend.

That sounds a little steep...especially for a supposedly invasive nuisance species...

As a taxidermist I can tell you to shoot any size hog that is available and I will mount it with whatever size tusks you want

Guys it's $950 for the weekend...$1500 for a trophy hog....may be a lil steep but if you are looking for the best possible experience and an awesome hog from blacks, white calicos, chocolate calicos, or pure whites this is the ranch....Oh did I mention giant teeth....4-5 inchers..
I just got back yesterday and the ranch was amazing....saw well over 300 hogs...20 100 yards from the 4000sqft log cabin...that's probably nicer than most of our homes.
5 hunters 5 hogs...

I'll pos the story tonight but here are some pics....enjoy....

Well tejon charges $1000 for a guided hunt...and well yes they have one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen...they don't have the hogs that this place has....teeth..colors....and it's well over 150,000 acres.....And after you kill your hog...you are done. Doesn't matter if it's 2hrs into hunt...or sunday afternoon...
But yes its still pricey....

Try using photobucket.com.

And who cares what the damn guide charges? Swarovski charges $2000 for binos. Ferarri charges $200,000 for cars. If you can afford the best then why not spend the dough? Not many places you can pay to hunt and expect to kill something with 4" teeth.

If you have the bucks who cares? If you have to scrimp and save (like many of us) then you do. More power to those that have it I guess.

Caninelaw I'm the average Joe like most of us.....by no means is $1500 a drop in the bucket....but bigsurarcher said it best ....there isn't another ranch in ca that I know of that can provide hog after hog with 4-5" teeth....in every color....and the lodge....the best in ca....looks like a ski lodge in Tahoe .....
