Started by hitting the yorty side first thing this morning before the sun came up to get to a good spot, had a great view of the hillsides and worked the oaks and chamois but no piggies, found one nice wallow and it was frozen.
Back on th liberty side now just regrouping and hitt some different areas. Even right now at this time I found patchs of frost still......tra uploadfromtaptalk1357154726829.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1357154743477.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1357154763704.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1357154789310.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1357154805908.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1357154827557.jpg

Have a nice hunt TRA.

Was cold here this morning also, 8 degrees when we left the house. Last week of Whitetail season.

(Was that a Sasquatch in the first pic?)

Sorry guys It was so hard to post up after I finished my hunt at the lake yesterday all day and then a late 3 hr drive home.
Well I went went into trad hunting mode for the rest of the day figuring I was just focused on bedding pigs and close shot opps. So hit up a handfull more of areas around the lake to check out for the day and I found some super fresh sign and followed it right into the brush but still no piggies. I check the hill tops oak patches for bedding pigs I went down into the ravines to check out creek bottoms found pig sign but no piggies. Met a couple of other hunters and they where fustrated trying to find pigs themselfs, they said they spent the overnight in their truck and froze there azzs off.
Well I put in a good day of hunting at the lake as always but the pigs win again evading me, its all good it keeps me going back for the challenge and I do enjoy hunting Lake Sonoma and getting away from work and the city life for sure. It my be a while before I get back up there again but wish great luck and success to my fellow JHO,rs hitting up the lake this season. Here's a few more photos of my l.s. adventure hunt.......tra
Flingem lake Sonoma is surrounded by awesome mountain ranges and vineyards and wineries, very scenic that's what makes it awesome public place to hunt here in Nor Cal.
P.s. Rachel I stop by to say hi but u were off, next time my friend.
