My Buddy and I was sitting over looking an area where there were fresh rooting till dark until I see this guy, I tell my buddy you go ahead my knee is bothering me and I here one shot. Sorry about the Blood it got dark on us

did he come out right before dark? Theres a bunch of bigger hogs(250+) that are waiting until dusk according to the Elk hunters that were seeing them at dusk (I own the resort around the corner and hang out at the game shack once in a while). I think they got smart because of the pressure during the day.

Thanks for fixing that speck.Not a problem as you can see how late it was when I finish cleaning up the pig, then was able to post the info
so its fresh information for all members to read. I can't say what training area we got the pig but if you do your homework and look for signs of traffic, rooting and tracks at crossing and decifer how fresh it is. And if its coming from a feeding,watering or bedding. And think about it would you be walking around 6am in the morning when its freezing cold.

I took the hog to have sausages made and after a lousy skining job leaving alot of meat on the hide it weighed 94 lbs dressed.
