Ft Hunter Liggett 2010 Archery ELK Tag Holder

Took me about 11 or 12 years to get a tag. I'v hunted FHL a fair number of times but don't know much about the elk there besides seeing them around. I'm hoping someone one here will share some experience with me.

Search for my post from last year if you want. I arrowed a 6x7 on day two of that hunt. Great tag and you get 9 days this year!!! Hold out for a big one. Feel free to PM me if you need any help.

Get FHL to open TA 22, then drive down River Road and pop a big bull in the middle of the road. Easy enough? Maybe with a little stalking in the river.

Is this tag different than the military draw for FHL? I'm trying to find out if I got drawn for the the Oct antlerless elk hunt? Does andybody know where to find this out? Thanks for any help.

Carbine...my tag is the either sex civilian hunt # 449. wait by your mail box but dont hold your breath or check fish and game website https://biggame.dfg.ca.gov/biggame/ and enter your info. Successful apps will get USPS mail. I got my successfull docs in the mail Friday last week. Good luck.

Good luck I put in for Cow tags only and have drawn 2 tags. and have harvested my game twice. My wife drew a rifle cow tag and made a 1 shot kill on a very old mature cow.
