I'd like too, But it will depend on what training area is open next thursday. This weekend will be my 1st trip out this year. Got my big projects over. Still have bunch of stuff to do before deer season.

Had a great weekend saw alot of turkeys with alot of hunter hunting the turkeys. Truck & 4x4 going every which way. I tried to sit in my favorite spot but there were too many vehicles driving back and forth.

I did get to draw my bow on a big gobbler but the darn hen ratted on me and they ran like roadrunners. Call it crazy but I had my Mathews switchback in a area full of shotguns and rifles. But I still had alot of fun. I could have shot couple hens with my bow that was 30 yards or so but hens were off limits. There was alot of water in the area. There was creeks in place I never saw before and fresh hog signs all over the area where the water were.

Mosquitos were out full force they were like miniature draculas. Tons of quail, doves, and deer. But I found hunters on every ridge across me. One hunter offer to give me a ride back down the hill what seemed like 5 miles. Knock on wood NO fleas or ticks. Alot of tall green grass.

I know it depends on which training areas are open this weekend (19-20) but is anyone tentatively planning to go to FHL?

I could be persuaded if i had someone to meet up with.
