We bought a couple more dozen decoys for this yr and were thinking about permanently affixing the heads on them. Has anyone ever done this and if so what did you use. I had a buddy that used great stuff foam insulation. He put it in the head holes, attached the heads and after it dried just trimmed off the excess. It worked good for his bigfoots but we just bought fully flocked bodies and I dont want the orange foam mixed in the flocking. Any suggestions???

Maybe appoxy (I don't know if thats how you spell it) will work good for that job, strong and clear and doesn't expand so there is no surprises.

If you want to use foam, you can get black "waterfall foam" and that will eliminate the orange color problem. You can get it at Home Depot in the garden area. You can also get it online...Just look up "waterfall foam"

I used Gorilla glue. Don't use to much and they'll never come a part.

When we first bought Big Foots back in the mid 1990's (when the feeders first came out) we used black oxide screws. Worked great. the new Big Foots do not need any attention due to the design change. We are hunting under Hardcores now and that is a whole different conversation...
