Went out to my spot to chase turkeys this am with no luck...slow and quiet (the toms are still henned up) so I headed back to the truck, changed out weapons (using a crossbow for the rest of turkey season) and headed to some hot spots on the ranch for some hog hunting. Didn't take long, spooked up a group of 15 or so sows, boars and piglets who were hanging in a drainage with water, picked out the lead sow and with one well-placed shot behind the ear with the 6.5 CM, it was lights out for her and too the skinning shed she goes. Nice fat sow for the sausage bin and smoker
