Dialed in at 50 yards with 6 shots. Will shoot for final load at 100 next weekend, and be ready for the hunt. Doesn't seem to be real picky on the bullet. Also love the BH209. 6 shots with no swabbing of the bore in between rounds. A wet Hoppes patch both sides, and a dry patch both sides. Light oil swab and ready to store until next outing.
Very nice work I have 2 encore frames one pistol and one rifle they are great thought about a contender but like the idea of switching to high power rifle rounds when needed.
Look at you guys carving your own wood. That's nice work!
inchr, I have been using BH209 in my Knights for a couple of years now. Like you said, it doesn't foul the bore, and that's a great thing for an extended camping hunt, but I'm not getting stellar groups out of it. I'm using a saboted .458", 330 gr HP. I have to swage it down to fit in the sabots, because they're made for .452's. It makes for a quick, clean kill w/o a lot of meat loss in anything I've shot with it yet.
Revo2811 check out SSK Industries
The new SSK-50 frames are being manufactured
(same as early contender but slab side with lynx-like cougar head on side)
I think your dealer will be asked to buy five frames for resale to quaify an order
Get a few of your friends to get on board with your order. Mud, You too can shape wood, remember shop class?
