Got this garden spider in my tomatoe patch---tried to use macro on the 740 but it changes from macro in 3 seconds----I'm not that fast or familiar with the cam yet.

Had to crop-copy and paste to try for closeup. Any ideas?

Tried for butterflies like you pros but would have made a wonderful movie scene chasing butterflies from flower to flower--to slow to find the settings and without my glasses couldn't see anything anyway.

Got lot of deletes tho.

oops forgot the pic.

Hey nice job! I like how you set the spider off center a little bit, nice touch! Not sure on what advice to give you, about your camera settings, I just put mine in Macro mode and shoot away.
I know what you mean about chasing butterflies, I'm glad I have a fenced in yard or else my neighbors would have had a great time watching me stumble around the garden!! lol

Nobody said it was easy....and thank goodness for the digital, just delete the baddies. I cant imagine how much film I'd ruin if I were using a regular camera.
