Checked my diary and saw that is was time for me to start looking, so I went back to the places that always have antlers and sure enough there they were, found 2 today, both had blood on them. this one has length and mass, shocked to see the big ones dropping already.

I saw this hanging in the pumb thicket and had to do a triple look, I found the match about 400 yards away. I also found the same match last yr but a brush hog had cut the whole left antler off. He didn't grow much, about the same spread as last yr but glad to get the whole set this yr.

I found the right side on this old boy last yr and searched endlessly for the left side, this yr I found the left side, glad to see the ole boy is still alive!!!! the base is 7 inches around, just an old boy with narly browtines.

when I was taking this pic I did not realize the match was 10 yards down the trail, might be able to pick it out in this picture, anyway, its a nice 10pt with over 12 inch g-1's or 2's or whatever is after the brow tine!

It would have been nice if you could have found them earlier in the year with a couple of inches of skin and skull between them. But I guess that is the second best thing. Plus he'll by around next year. Nice match set. Is this in KS or MO? Just curious.

Well guys I am about done, ticks are getting bad and the green up is in full force, not a great yr for me like last yr but 38 sheds and about 4 skulls is about what I came up with.

Heres one I missed last yr, but found it this yr. just little mouse marks on it.
