Guess it's my turn to get taken to task. Here's a shot of a goose I took last year with a 400-2.8 on a Nikon D2H, and another taken with a 17-35mm 2.8 in Alberta during a hunt there. There is movement in the bird sin the 2nd shot because it was like a 1/10 sec exposure, if memory serves.
