OK after a couple Hunts it has become obvious to me that there is NOT a one pack Fits all.
So time to break it down and repack it, So first to go are all the deer stuff, scent, calls, game slides ect.
And repack the must haves
3 days Emergence food and water
First aide kit
Rain gear
Knifes and sharpeners, ?? Maybe not all ? Just what I would need to gut the piggy, Not deboning it in the field
OK sort out Knifes
Binoculars, and I am going to need BBB new ones, Very low light ones
Hiking sticks
Any other Day pack necessities ?
Pig stuff, Call and scent, and I bought the Kamaru Rifle Bearer, should work great with my day pack
Totally different type of Hunting, nothing farther than a hour hike. Quads to go get them and Haul them back to the Ranch. shower, kitchen amenities !
I guess the Biggest change would be the hunting times, very early and into the night, the low light factor !
And I must admit it would not hurt my Deer Hunting to Have Better optics, they just were not necessary.
so time to save up 1500 to 2000 dollars for a scope and binoculars, think maybe I could get really good at 1000 or less ? What did you buy, for how much and is it your wet dream of optics ?
