A must for me is G2/Powerade Zero. If I do a lot of hiking and do not power down enough of it, later that evening, usually in bed, I will cramp up to the point I think I am going to die. I do carry a SPOT device and punch in every so often. It sends an email/text to my wife of my location. Keeps me from having to check in...It was essential when I was in CA out on my ATV and 70 miles from my car and no cell service. Not so much now with cell service most everywhere.

It looks like wild1 caught the wild pig broke it in, put his pack on the pig to lug back to his truck but the pig died from heat stroke and never made it...lol sorry I am bored right now.

Dustin with the classic new zelander piggy back method, I like this method but flees and ticks get a free ride tooo.

Yep Cam, for my cali hunts I always drank electrolytes a few days before and during the hunting trips. Keep from cramping and bonking and stay hydrated better, humping cali hills and mtns in the hot heat u need it lugging equipment and weapons, being out the whole day, day after day on a multi day hunts can take there toll if u r not eating or drinking right......tra
