Went Wed. night git these. I took the big boar about 300 lbs and this guy Ronnie got his first ever big game kills on two nice sows. Not so much a hunt, under Dep. rules but still an adventure. Here's some pictures.

Privet land I picked up as a depridation permit to help the owner get rid of theese destructive beasts. South County San Benito going again soon. Ron is ready to go for sure as we were makeing sausage he kept trying to make mistakes so we had an excuse to go get more. Yeah the bigin was just that took three of us to get him in the truck but not a whole lot for teeth won't mount him.

Git R Done, brutha.. that's all I can say.

Looks like lots of depredation opportunities in your area. Good source of pork, I think.

BGH831,

Congrats on the pigs and getting the dep permit! I've been trying to work that angle as well in SC and SB counties.

I'm prettie good with the Warden here in SB let me know if you want a hand talking to him and proper verbage so that he can't say no. Santa Clara is a different guy but still the same story you just got to tell them what they need to hear and be able to back it up.

Bgh,

I think I met a new warden in Hollister last Friday?

Kinda younger guy, big, but with a sorta high voice. Short, dark hair. Sound like your guy?

He seemed real friendly, and I enjoyed talking with him. Told him where I was planning to hunt near Coalinga, and he'd never heard of the area... figure it's out of his jurisdiction, or he's brand new on the watch.

Or just listening and takeing notes. Sounds like Jeremy to me the new guy doesn't come in till first of the year. Not knowing a spot doesn't surprise me this guy is so busy chaceing his tail and enviromental calls I bet there are plenty of PL spots he's never seen, and don't forget he is our 1 warden for the county.
